The partnership further strengthens Livigno's international position as a leading destination for altitude training.
The partnership will also include a joint program of content creation and activation initiatives, showcasing the athletes' preparation while strengthening the connection between the team and 1816 Bike Zone Livigno through projects aimed at the international cycling community and visitors to the destination.

"This partnership is an important recognition of the journey Livigno has been on for many years and perfectly reflects what our destination stands for," said Luca Moretti, President of Livigno Next. "Being chosen as the Official Altitude Training Destination by a team such as Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe is a recognition of an ecosystem built around the pursuit of performance, combining an extraordinary natural environment with high-quality hospitality and a deeply rooted endurance culture. It is yet another confirmation of Livigno's international standing as a destination for elite sports preparation."
During the 2026 season, the Team will use Livigno as its benchmark base for preparing for the main events on the international calendar. Following the high-altitude training periods already completed by Jai Hindley and Nico Denz ahead of the Tour de France, the partnership will also support the preparation for subsequent events of the season, from the Vuelta a España, with Primož Roglič as team captain, down to the World Championships.

Melanie Hofbauer, Chief of Commercial at Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe, added: "We know Livigno from the Giro d’Italia and have experienced first-hand the outstanding conditions it offers. That makes us even more excited to welcome Livigno as an official partner of our team. Its ideal environment for altitude training and preparing for the key races makes Livigno an important part of our season planning."
The partnership is part of the continued development of 1816 Bike Zone Livigno, the project that brings together every aspect of Livigno's cycling identity under one unified brand: international events, altitude training, specialist services, dedicated hospitality and a community where cycling is an integral part of everyday life. The decision by Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe further confirms Livigno's ability to attract some of the most respected organisations in professional cycling.
